“I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it's an opportunity to collaborate with a global network of people who are sharing common goals of making positive impact in their respective communities. I am passionate about Peace building initiative and honored to be able to connect with a diverse group of people dedicated to make positive change in our global society through Sustainable Development Goals.”

Millennium Fellowship Project

Youth Peace Ambassadors is a group of youths who are passionate about positive change in their communities. It is a leadership program focusing on training negotiation skills, especially the role of young people in peacekeeping during conflicts in Africa. The project advances Sustainable Development Goal #16, promoting peace, justice and strong institutions. We are planning to have 5 training sessions in the coming semester in universities. We also raise funds to support children in rural areas who do not have the basic needs to have access to school. We believe that promoting peace is better but one thing we are caring about too is climate change in the world. If we do not take positive action now to fight against climate change, in the next fifty (50) years, natural disaster will be the wars and conflicts we will try to end, and I think as youth, we should take positive actions for the next generation.
