“I am so excited to be a Millennium fellow because for it is the biggest opportunity to be exposed to the whole world, and it will be a good time to discuss with other fellow to problems that the world has. It will be an opportunity to get views and opinions of how you can solve your problem, which will create impact toward the solution that we might implement in the future.”

Millennium Fellowship Project

Bamboo project is a future profit organization that is focusing on planting bamboo trees on the area of five acres. We have been looking forward to planting about 1000 seeds. Our main objective is to reforest and preventing from the climate change caused by deforestation in my home area. We also hope to employ about 40 to 50 young people to conserve and guide the forest from poachers. Our initiative has measured it success metrics and we have found that as we have managed to plant 1000 bamboos, we employed 22 people in just cultivation stage. In the previous four months, we have tried to raise $65 local government to support in wedding stage. From those 1000 bamboos, we hope to generate money from them which is about $560 in next 7 months.
