Millennium Fellowship Project: Sharing us

Sharing-Us is an initiative that focuses on the treatment of solid waste and aims to promote a culture of recycling. This initiative has three goals. The first goal is to raise awareness of the consequences of our consumption habits. The second goal is to take action and train the community on responsible waste disposal. The third and last phase is to transform the waste into useful items to avoid the production of new plastics mainly.

Ziyuan Huang was born in a small city in China called GuangDong. When Ziyuan came to Mexico to search for opportunities to work, he learned that there were similar social problems in both countries like contamination, polluted air, a lot of plastic waste and others. Even though these problems look huge, Ziyuan believes that the solution starts with people taking action.
