“I am excited to be a Millenium Fellow because it will be a great opportunity to help others out, which is what the world needs more of these days. I am looking forward to meeting new people and contributing to their projects as well.”
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Safe Haven
Project Safe Haven aims to provide our community kids safety and to teach them about safety in our communities so that we can see a decrease in violence that involves our children. I wish to host events where kids can go to after school and have a great time, I want these events to make the kids feel better after having a bad day, and keep them out of doing things that may lead them to trouble. I aspire to be one of their role models and would love for them to seek for me for advice and friendship.
