Millennium Fellowship Project: MetroWest ESL Enrichment Project

The MetroWest ESL Enrichment Project aims to design and enact an English learning program for members of nearby communities. With this project, we hope to expedite assess to language education for immigrants and refugees in the MetroWest area. The project also works to raise awareness about nearby programs and organizations that may be of assistance in legal, medical, or financial matters. All this is done to ameliorate the many personal difficulties that come with moving to a new country.

The project goals for the duration of the Millennium Fellowship project includes:

  • Hosting formal registrations once a month for four months, with informal registrations available on a rolling basis. The team estimates to get about 50-100 people per formal registration and about 300 per informal methods during the four months.

  • Creating the entrance and exit exams to measure the success of the program and learner retention.
