Millennium Fellowship Project: just BEEcause
Just BEEcause seeks to raise awareness of the plight of bees and other pollinators, as their numbers dwindle at alarming rates. The team hopes to make Georgetown University's campus a hub for bees and other pollinators by creating a pollinator-friendly garden and increasing on-campus support for sustainable farming ventures.
create / modify an existing garden to be pollinator-friendly
asses and advocate to change (if necessary) policies impacting pollinators on campus
raise approximately $1,000 dollars to donate to a local organization dedicated to protecting pollinators
