United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,092 Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2019 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 978,400 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

The Diyabat Literacy Insitute (Egypt) services 800 enrolled students who have reduced/no access to state educational resources, offering programs and curricula in computer literacy, mathematics, English, and Arabic.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mohammad Elokda is a junior at Georgetown University studying Science, Technology, and International Affairs with certificates in Arab Studies and Diplomacy. He is the Director of Finance at the student-led Georgetown University Social Innovation and Public Service (SIPS) Fund and a research intern with the Washington Post.
