Millennium Fellowship Project: Equality for Education
Equality for Education (EFE) is working to close the educational gap between children in different socioeconomic classes in the Boston area. EFE is seeking to do this by combating education loss over the summer by providing educational opportunities to children in low-income families. Examples of these opportunities include music instrument lessons, summer camps, and trips to local museums. We will also provide resources such as summer-school curriculum and homework to reinforce ideas learned over the school year. We can measure the effectiveness of our program by comparing results from standardized tests over consecutive years.
