“I have always been passionate about social development. Belonging to a rural background which lacked basic amenities like electricity and education I have felt how lack of facilities can crumple the potential a person possess. And that's why I have always been actively working to create every small change that I can be part of whether it be educating children or strengthening infrastructure and facilities.
With the network of Millennium fellows I believe I can be part of community of world leaders of change and learn mutually from each other.”
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Future Project
The Future Project aims to provide basic amenities to school children from the public schools of Chennai. We have completed the first pilot phase of the project where we conducted collection drives in 3 schools in Chennai and the collected waste paper was used to make over 1600 notebooks distributed to over 500 students. We plan to expand the project to include more amenities like bags, stationery, table as a part of this project and to reach more students as we move along. Our next immediate aim is to impact more than 3000 young lives in and around Chennai by supporting their learning endeavors.
