Millennium Fellowship Project: Mocj G7 Nations Economic Summit

The combined National Debt of the seven largest, richest global economies, the G7. The G7 has been vocal about the need to prevent the global economy from entering another recession. Government debt is an accounting of the tax payments collected by government agencies (earnings) and the payments made by government programs (expenses). A budget deficit (National Debt) occurs when a government spends more
money than it takes in. The G7 individually and collectively met to reiterate their commitments to utilize all policy tools—monetary, fiscal, and structural to strengthen global demand and address supply constraints to
steadily increase GDP, in other words, the total overall value of the world’s economy. We decided to
conduct our own Mock G7 Nations Economic Summit to demonstrate the connections between the
biggest economies in the world, and the impact of the national debt, on everyday life and ordinary
people.
