“I am always interested in social work as it is a profession that historically produces agents of change who are not afraid to challenge antiquated policies, fight for social justice, and make the world a better place. The purpose of Youth for Human Rights International is to teach youth about human rights, specifically the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and inspire them to become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace. Its importance is that it tells people that one cannot call a society a good and a just society until all its citizens enjoy these human rights.”
Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Equality
I am planning to spread awareness on SDG-5 (Gender Equality) this August-November. I am planning to accomplish this task through different social media forums to make a change and improve the living standard of many deprived people. I hope that many people would be inspired and I would accomplish my goals due to my kindness, integrity, and diligence. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow as I understand the importance of working towards and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
