“Being a Millennium Fellow is a great privilege for me as I see this as an avenue to improve myself and my network as well as an opportunity to meet with prospective change makers in the world today. The millennium fellowship brings together young people around the world who desire to make the world a better place, which is a great motivation for me as this is pivotal in gaining support for the SDGs. I so much desire a world without poor people, where children have all they need to be happy, hence advancing SDG 1- NO POVERTY.”

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Development Advocates UNILAG (SDA UNILAG)

Sustainable Development Advocates UNILAG is aimed at creating awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its implementation in the University of Lagos, Nigeria. The project would work in partnership with other campuses that have an established and functional organization for the SDGs purpose so as to make SDA UNILAG achieve as much and even more than they have in sensitizing the general public and amassing support for the SDGs in the least possible time.
Measurable goals:

  1. Awareness creation about the SDA UNILAG especially amongst new students through catch them young programs.

  2. Partnerships with all SDGs related bodies on the campus and other publicity engagements

  3. Successful creation and management of the UNILAG SDGs Hub
