ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,092 Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2019 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 978,400 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Raise A Kid
Raise A Kid provides Children of a remote slum in Lagos, Nigeria with elementary education. The team consists of undergraduate students who share a common view about SDG Goal 4 (Quality Education for all). This semester, the team hopes to recruit more volunteers, impact more kids in the community and seek media partnership as well as sponsorship to drive the conscious need to act sustainably for a better world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Onyinyechi Praise Mbanali is a finalist at the University of Lagos, majoring in Law. Praise is a driven young individual, who is avidly interested in providing solutions to social issues in her community and the world. To this end, she has actively contributed to various projects aimed at community development, within and outside her country. In her free time, Praise enjoys writing, with the hope to motivate and contribute to the development of others. In the nearest future, she hopes to build a successful career in management consulting.
