“I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because of the urgent need for sustainability on a large scale and the failure of current methodologies to influence enough people to make lifestyle changes. Pursuing these efforts as a Fellow would accelerate the dissemination of information and also increase the impact of my initiative.”

Millennium Fellowship Project: Eco-nomical Living

As we increasingly find ourselves in a world where perfection in consumption habits (think vegan and no-waste lifestyles), Eco-nomical Living is a project aimed to educate individuals on the many small, affordable changes in consumption habits that can create a large impact. The educational campaign is a compilation of research on day-to-day consumer products and includes an evaluation of the available alternatives. The project would serve to guide and assist individuals in choosing the best alternative for their lifestyle and socioeconomic status.

The projected outcomes of our project by November 2020 includes a launch of the website with content regarding how to achieve an Eco-nomical Lifestyle. Another focus will be on fundraising efforts to pursue a venue to hold a seminar and overall introductory event for both the project and website.
