ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,092 Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2019 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 978,400 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Creative Conduct

Creative Conduct was founded with the vision of providing young refugees living in Turkey access to study literature. This semester the program aims to launch in two schools on the Turkish-Syrian border and hopefully provide literature classes to 30 students.

About the Millennium Fellow

Zeynep Karadeniz is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. She is a member of TedxPenn, which runs the annual TEDx Conference in Philadelphia with 1000 audience members and works for PennCASE, a club responsible for informing individuals in the Philadelphia area of consumer protection and advocacy.
