“I am delighted to be a Millennium Fellow because it allows me to leverage my ideas to be actionable. Also, it makes me feel supported and heartening to be joining a large community of like-minded people who want to change the world for the better. I am passionate to learn more and develop my leadership skills. Through my project, I hope to give back something invaluable to society.”

Millennium Fellowship Project

Sustainability Accounting is a project aiming to raise awareness on how accounting can motivate firms to change their operations to be sustainable and transparent. Our first step is to engage business students to learn about sustainability then work with firms to change a few of their strategies to become environmentally and socially sustainable. The project aims to reach out to 30 enthusiastic students and three firms to disrupt unsustainable practices and ideologies. Also, the act of creating a sustainability business club will raise awareness of our initiatives to 6000 students and multinational corporations already engaging with our university's activities.
