ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations.  30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year. 

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

In conjunction with SDG #17 and UNAI #4, the Penn in Washington Student Group works to promote the Penn in Washington Program and advises students on developing their various interests in public and foreign policy into careers in government and non-profit.

About the Millennium Fellow

Alyssa is a senior at Penn studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Besides her involvement in the Penn in Washington Program, she has worked with an Indonesian micro-finance institution to help build a sustainable business model and published articles on financial exclusion and abortion law through a school public policy journal. Alyssa is an avid reader of NYT Gender Letter and is passionate about women's empowerment.
