"I believe that this fellowship is going to afford me the opportunity to link up with people of like-minds, give me some additional skills which are required in enhancing my leadership ability thereby affecting my society and bringing the necessary change Liberia needs. My passion stems, first, from my orientation and it takes into consideration the need to effect change in a society who is desperately in dire need, especially one like Liberia that has a youthful population of 65%."

 

Millennium Fellowship Project

James Project is the establishment of an Entrepreneurship and Leadership Academy. The core essence is to train young people between the ages of 18-35 in the Academy for the purpose of becoming self-sufficient and independent. Young people enrolling in the Academy will be trained in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, and Public Management for the period of three weeks.

James B. Kollie is a writer, poet, and motivational speaker who currently works as a youth and student leader and a community organizer in Liberia. Currently, he is a senior student majoring in Political Science and minoring in Mass Communication. He served as the Freshman Class President during the academic year 2014/2015.
