Millennium Fellowship Project

The Global Women's Health Initiative is an organization focused on awareness and advocacy for non-Western women's health issues. It examines these issues through medical, legal, and artistic lenses. There will be 4 events hosted over this semester focused on various international issues. The particular focus is on eradicating female genital cutting/mutilation. 

About the Millennium Fellow

Asha Ramakumar is a junior at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University studying Global Politics and Women and Gender Studies. She is the co-founder and co-director of the Global Women's Health Initiative. Her ultimate goal is to work as an international solicitor representing global women's health interests.
