Millennium Fellowship Project
The Learn.IT project aims to provide basic quality Computer Science education to orphaned children in underprivileged communities. This project will ensure that these children acquire the basic technological knowledge, skill and confidence to stay relevant in the rapidly approaching new economy, which is characterized by technological advancements. A measurable goals this project has for the time frame of August-November is to organize a workshop to start educating the first 30 children.
About the Millennium Fellow
David Sasu is a senior at Ashesi University and he is majoring in Computer Science. He has always wanted his existence in the world to count for something good. It is this deep desire for positive impact that drives him every day. He constantly dreams of an Africa where everyone has access to quality education that empowers them to solve their own problems. He loves to teach and he aspires to specialize in the field of Artificial Intelligence so that he can implement intelligent systems to help solve Africa's education challenges
