ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.
The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

BIOTECH AWARENESS FOR AFRICA
We educate the public by teaching better farming methods and avail farmers with better breeds of crops resistant to diseases and drought resilient such as GMOs , good quality seeds so as to enhance crop yield and quality as well in small space and time ,increase plant vigour (hybrid crops) hence give food security to the society as well.
We also involve the entire population on issues about health care, to create awareness , accessibility of biopharmaceuticals such as drugs , vaccines so as to reduce diseases and also combat further disease prevalence.
*For an average of about 150 farmers , the farmers should be able to sustain not only the markets but also their home in consumption in terms of food.
About the Millennium Fellow
Chrispinos Oundo is a student at Makerere University pursuing a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery.
He is passionate about transformative leadership and has an aim to use the knowledge he has acquired to change much about his community. Looking at the malnutrtional associated diseases , he is much affiliated to counteract food insecurity.
