United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations.  30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year. 

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

Mentor a Secondary School Student Initiative is a social impact platform committed to sustainably educating high school students on how to be purpose-driven, value-oriented and spurring them to a higher life of significance. Over 300 to 500 students would be impacted between the period of August and November through organizing four school seminar series and two leadership weekend retreat program. This project is advancing SDG 4 and UNAI principle 5.

About the Millennium Fellow

Christy Alagbe is a final year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. A dynamic, innovative, goal oriented lady, full of great fire to ignite the world. She's passionate about social entrepreneurship, innovations and problems solving. She is the founder of Mentor a Secondary School Student Initiative, a platform that is committed to sustainably educating high school students on how to be purpose-driven, value-oriented and spurring them to a higher life of significance. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a certified Human Resource Management Personnel. Christy's skills include project management, excellent communication, leadership skills and administrative skills. Her hobbies are reading and writing. At leisure, she enjoys playing games like chess and monopoly and listens to classical music.
