ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations.  30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year. 

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

The Cyber Security Club aims to SDG 5 on gender equality and the UNAI principle of capacity-building in higher education systems. Only 20% of the global Cyber-Security workforce are women. The Cyber Security Club at Effat University will provide students who are passionate about cyber security an environment to gain and share knowledge, empowering women to learn and better understand in the Cyber Security field.

About the Millennium Fellow

Noura Alkhudair is a student at Effat University. She is continuing her studies in Computer Science. She is in the Cyber Security Club that is run in her universities Campus by their leader Majd. Noura’s interests include Application Development and Cyber Security. Cyber Security became my passion because of it’s growing need in industries and it’s Provision of security.
