Ladoke Akintola University of Technology | Ogbomosho, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3
" I'm excited to be a Millennium fellow because it'll
connect with wider network of young and
active leaders that'll harness collaborative impact in the
community, to be part of the accocomplishment of
the UN SDGs 4 by 2030, and to always be at
the edge of seeing the educational needs of the community by equipping the school libraries for quality education. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's equip the library (LETL)
'Let's equip the library' (LETL) is in correlation to the UN SDGs 4,
quality education. The project is to equip
libraries and make the students get
accessibility to needed and resourceful
materials to aid their learning and make them
good future leaders. The libraries in my
community and state is poor to the standard of
a world class and this project is really targeted
at the most crippled libraries around. The local
news paper would realize that the need to
equip the young mind is vital.
Measurable goal:
•Let's equip the library will equip one library in every four months
interval for 5 years.
•We targeted at equipping each school library with at least $300
• Partner with publication industries that we can buy books from at a very discounted price to give the students.
