" It's a thrill to have been selected as a Millennium Fellow. I'm excited to be able to lean on the team of fellows at my campus, and this honour, to spread the word about sustainable development and channel the brilliance of my peers to achieving it. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Integrating UN SDGs into College Life
The students of the colleges of Cambridge live in a very close community and often enter positions of influence. I aim to use the College environment, where currently just over half have heard of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to create excitement and collaboration for the cause. My project aims to make by increasing awareness, coordinating and inspiring a number of student projects associated with various goals (with the idea for these to inspire action in later life as well by organisers) and gaining recognition and adoption of the framework by the College itself.
