ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: UN Sustainable Labor Institute
The project aims to guide high school students in researching labor practices in their industries of interest, discussing global labor justice issues, and becoming more cognizant consumers. By the end of the project, the Fellow plan on producing a journal of student-authored articles and organizing a virtual Summit where the students will present their research.
About the Millennium Fellow
Madison Kang is a sophomore at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, USA, studying Industrial and Labor Relations. On campus, she is a managing editor of the Cornell International Affairs Review, a writer for the Cornell Business Review, and a member of law fraternity Kappa Alpha Pi. She is very excited to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship this year.
