United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

My project is on traditional methods of water harvesting in the state of Rajasthan.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tripti is an easy going, likable person who sees a world full of opportunity. She's thoughtful, caring and, understanding person. She loves to cook and read books. Last year she read book of Anupam Mishra, an Indian Gandhian- Aaj Bhi Khare Hai Talaab. Later when Tripti completed the book. It become a source of inspiration for her to do study and¬† research about the similar idea- traditional water harvesting system in India. Coming from the state of Rajasthan Tripti has seen problem faced by people due to shortage of water. She believes that fulfilling her interest is a small step towards solving the issue.
