United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: School garden project
School Garden Project imparted 200 students with new skills and Incorporated good team spirit in them and it enabled them to practically understand how food is grown. This rnhanc8their assimilation rate positively as they were exposed to practical and theoretical aspect of the project. The essence of the project is to help in the actualization of FAO's food security agenda by 2020, alleviate hunger and also train and change students' mindset towards agriculture as a business where they will generate income aside being able to feed themselves. We have already started working with schools and with more resources coming, we intend to train 400 school student both primary and secondary children.
