ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lachi Foundation
Lachi Foundation is an organization with a strong focus on the young people and people with special needs through better livelihood and empowerment. Its goal is to reach out to them in matters related to mental health and bring out positive impact in their lives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Fiona Amondi is one of the founders of Lachi Foundation Kenya with a passion of promoting better livelihood for young people as well as persons with disabilities through better health care, access to basic services and information rooted in good governance and social upkeep. She wants to realize the dream of a prosperous future generation by playing an active and direct role in actualizing it.
