" I am very excited and thrilled to be a part of Millennium Fellowship Class of 2020. I believe this will be an opportunity for me to observe, learn and make new aquaintances from the people I meet. Millennium Fellowship brings together individuals from different and diverse cultural backgrounds and it is this diversity that gives each individual their unique character and personality. I look forward to being a part of this great community and to grow from it. The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically, intelligence and character, that is the true goal of education. ~ Martin Luther King. Jr "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Basuba Youth Community Restoration Program
The project is about partnering with different youth leaders in the country and out of the country in a bid to sensitize the Abasuba marginalized community of Kenya on the Sustainable Development Goals and the actions that youth can be involved in to achieve capacity building and partnership for the goals. Within the period of August- December 2020, the team hopes to sensitize the youth on how to preserve and protect water and food resources amidst the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic.
