ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: CLEAN "2" SAVE
CLEAN "2" SAVE will be centered towards promoting SDG 11 and 3. The project involves making the environments and communities sustainable. To achieve this project, Felows will partner with the local authorities in the surrounding communities. Through awareness, campaigns and outreaches , the project would have equipped individuals on ways of making the environment more sustainable.
About the Millennium Fellow
Her name is Oluwasesin, Ruth Abosede. She has consistently led teams to deliver varying result in their respective environment. She was one time president of the Yoruba press club, punctuality prefect back in her secondary school.
Her real strength is her ability to correctly understand problematic situations, and to accurately estimate the time and energy needed for a solution to be implemented
What she is looking for right now is a project that will help reduce the amount of solid waste that is improperly disposed in her environment and she believes with the help of this community it can be achieved.
