" I am excited for the opportunity to work with the other Millennium Fellows to grow and challenge each other to make innovative and sustainable change. Mental health has long been a cause close to my heart, and I am eager to make changes that will reduce stigma and create communities of care. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Orientation Campaign

The goal of this campaign is to implement mental health education into campus orientations and first-year experience courses. This includes a presentation from University health clinicians at freshman orientations outlining the resources provided by the school, resource handouts for students, and mental health resource listings in all syllabi. Simple mental health practices such as self-care and mindfulness should be worked into all first-year experience courses.
