United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Hunger Eradication
Hunger Eradication is simply is about enlightening people on how to best deal with hunger and famine. Majorly through encouraging establishment of farmers saccos and local groups/chamas that can give loan to farmers at very low rates,and encouraging the growing of drought resistant crops.
About the Millennium Fellow
Brian Kipkemoi Koech is a second year student at strathmore university persuing international studies. What motivates him is empathy. Brian feels that more should be supported in order to achieve zero hunger. He believes that the Millennium Fellowship will help him actualize his dreams in creating a world where every one is able to fend for himself
