United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering young girls into Information Technology
This project is looking at bringing together young girls to develop passion for Information Technology. in Ghana, the IT field has less number of women involved most dominated by men. this project project is looking at bringing together young girls from various regions in the country to develop their passion for information technology as the world now is being driven by technology. with this project girls will be equipped with the right skills to learn and develop their passion for Technology in other for them to contribute to the development of the world at large. There are a lot of hidden potentials in young girls in this country only that they don't have the exposure and this project will give them that exposure they need. with this large number young girl will even find their carers in this field of IT. some careers are Website development, Computer Hardware as well as Microsoft Office and many others.
