United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: SDG awareness
SDG awareness aims to to reach 70% of the students in terms of awareness on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and also assist fellow students enroll more in the Mylittlebigthing Sustainable innovation challenge from the University and ensuring gender parity.
About the Millennium Fellow
Alex Okware Obwangor is an SDG enthusiast who believes youths are the core mantra of achieving this goals as stipulated by UN member states.He is a team player and leader who champions for change within and its solutions.When he joined campus he has been able to partner with Mylittlebigthing organization to engage students in an annual competition for innovative ideas hinged on SDGs where the winner gets to get seed capital for his or her projects.Also as Realestate student he advocates for better practices especially in land management.
