Millennium Fellowship Project: On the Line
I hope to interview community members across the Philadelphia region to write stories about struggle and recovery, working in partnership with the Nationalities Service Center, which helps over 5,000 refugees and immigrants each year. Currently, they are engaged in fundraising for emergency resources, and I hope to use stories from clients to support this effort by pooling a narrative of individual voices together. This story should be published in a local or national media outlet, and the attention from the project should attract donations for immigrants in the Philadelphia community and highlight NSC's work.
