" I am so excited to be a part of the 2020 Millennium Fellowship cohort because it provides an incredibly unique opportunity for me to develop myself as a community leader, connect with a global network of like-minded individuals, and it will provide a wealth of resources to further assist my goal to incite positive change. I dedicate my life to the pursuit of a future full of justice, education, and harmony. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Be the Change
For the Fall of 2020 my project, "Be The Change", will focus on student education of what it means to be sustainable, how to promote sustainability, and the importance of sustainable development in the face of climate change. My goal in doing so is that I will promote the development of environmental leaders. In the face of such a cataclysmic issue, it's understandable that many feel angry, scared, and powerless. Through education, my goal is to empower these individuals and create a community where they feel as though their voices and their choices matter. In the Fall of 2020, my goal is to engage individuals in a meaningful way to promote critical thinking and incite action as a community.
