Delhi Technological University | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3
" Being a Millennium Fellow will foster me to be a part of the global network of change-makers who are working on making the world better. What's greater than being connected with like-minded people one resonates with! This certainly is a pathway in itself for inspiring and motivating each other to bring about greater creativity and positive impacts. This opportunity would also help me sharpen my skills in a new environment and new setting, while maximizing the impact and simultaneously helping me stand out & get a career boost. It would also foster in developing cultural competency & awareness, grow my leadership skills and gain international experience, adding onto my future social impacts. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Kalam Ko Salam
Kalam Ko Salaam (KKS) aims to dispel the darkness of illiteracy and ignorance by taking education to the underprivileged sections of the society.
•Nearly 45 volunteers teach over 60 children of nearby slums at Shubhakshika Educational Society.
•Some part of our university is under construction and the labour there is on daily wage. We provide basic education, 2 meals per day on 3 days of the week to nearly 17 children of these daily wage workers.
• We emphasises on the holistic growth and development of these kids through the formulation of customized, inclusive curriculum.
• Regular donation drives are held to provide new clothes and stationery items to these kids.
