This Fellowship will be a platform for me to turn ideas into reality. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Colonialism
The project talks about the persistent issue of climate reparations and debt faced by the Global South. Being a populous, labour generating and product generating nation, India faces consdierable challenges in terms of climate change. There is no doubt it is responsible for carbon emissions however, the primary actor accountable for these degrading consequences is the Global North, like the United Kingdom, the United States, etc. Through our findings and data driven analysis we were able to conclude this hypothesis and have also introduced a newer method to hold the countries responsible for carbon emissions - trading responsibility.
