Millennium Fellowship Project: Desh Ke Mentor by Manav Jain
Led the "Desh Ke Mentor" program as a Millennium Fellow, empowering over 1000 college students to mentor underprivileged government school children. Facilitated virtual mentorship, resolving technical and emotional issues, and guided students in making informed career decisions, contributing to the reduction of educational inequalities globally.
About the Millennium Fellow
Manav Jain is senior chemical engineering student at Delhi Technological University in New Delhi, India. Manav is passionate about how the individual can have an impact on the world around them through social and technical knowledge. As a Delhi native, much of her education and knowledge focused on the community role in the welfare of the underprivileged people. Through his project, he hopes to make the most impact he can make as an individual on the life of the underprivileged people. After he graduates, Manav plans to earn a MBA to be more efficient in working or running with a social impact organization.
