" I am thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it represents a unique opportunity to join a global network of changemakers who are committed to making a tangible impact in their communities. My work in electrical engineering, especially in sustainable technology design, is fueled by a deep passion to innovate and develop solutions that address pressing global challenges, from energy efficiency to smart infrastructure. The fellowship will not only allow me to enhance my technical skills but also to collaborate with diverse peers, amplify my initiatives, and contribute to building a more equitable and sustainable future for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Nayi Unchaayi

The project Nayi Unchaayi comprises of 2 words
Nayi which means new in Hindi and Unchaayi
which means heights which deduces the
objective of our project that is to help children
reach new heights through their power of
knowledge and education. I would love if children
are able to go beyond their said boundaries, they
should have sheer determination, confidence and
the power to cross those boundaries that haunt
them. According to educationforallinindia.com,
India's primary education net enrollment ratio
(NER) is 92.7%, while upper primary is 74.1%,
secondary is 52.5%, and higher secondary is
34.7%. As from the above data we can clearly
see that the rate of secondary education
enrollment rate in India is quite low when
compared with the primary education enrollment
rate which is quite alarming. The data above
states only the enrollment rate, the actual rate of
students receiving the education is quite lower.
My goal would be to spread awareness and to
educate people on the importance of secondary
education. As children will not be able to mark
their own identity without the help of secondary
education and will not be able to evolve into responsible and educated individuals
