Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Myna Mahila
Myna Mahila is a social enterprise in India dedicated to empowering women and enhancing menstrual hygiene in underserved communities. The organization produces affordable sanitary pads and employs local women, providing them with stable jobs and training. By conducting educational workshops and community outreach, Myna Mahila raises awareness about menstrual health and hygiene, aiming to break cultural stigmas and improve overall health. This holistic approach not only ensures access to essential menstrual products but also fosters economic independence and social empowerment for women.
About the Millennium Fellow
Pranav Gupta is a dynamic and visionary leader, passionately dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainability. He is a pre-final year student, pursuing a bachelor's of Technology in Chemical Engineering at Delhi Technological University in India. As the driving force behind a forward-thinking student club at DTU, Pranav is committed to bridging the industry-academia gap and promoting the principles of the circular economy.
