Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Campus Inattentive

Green Campus Initiative** is a student-led sustainability project at the Asian University for Women aimed at reducing waste, promoting responsible consumption, and building environmental awareness across the campus community. Through interactive workshops, awareness campaigns, and practical demonstrations on recycling and waste segregation, the project empowers students to understand the importance of sustainable habits. By engaging students, faculty, staff, and campus clubs, the initiative creates a collaborative space where everyone participates in learning about eco-friendly practices and climate responsibility.
Alongside educational activities, the project organizes campus clean-up drives, sustainability challenges, and partnerships with student organizations to increase participation and long-term impact. These hands-on efforts not only improve the physical environment of AUW but also encourage behavioral change among students by making sustainability part of daily life. Ultimately, the Green Campus Initiative contributes to building a model green campus that aligns with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), inspiring young women to become environmentally conscious leaders in their own communities.
