Millennium Fellowship Project: Project SheSpeaks

We started project SheSpeaks about a year ago, back in 2024. Core members of this
project have initiated this project through BRACU Social Impact Lab and we have been
working on this project for about a year now. We have had the opportunity to
represent Project SheSpeaks on international platforms, which has significantly
contributed to our growth and visibility. This year in July, we presented the project at
the Summer School Programme,,"Get Engaged: Student as a citizen" hosted by Central
European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary. This exposure has allowed us to
engage with global perspectives and broaden our understanding of community-based
initiatives. Additionally, we represented project SheSpeaks at the OSUN "Get Engaged
Conference: Student Action and Youth Leadership", held at European Humanities
University (EHU) in Vilnius, Lithuania. Through this experience, we gained valuable
insights into project development, sustainability, and the role of youth leadership in
driving positive community change. As part of the conference activities, we applied for
a micro grant and are pleased to share that we successfully received funding of 500
USD to support the ongoing activities of our project.
