" With the best tools and opportunities there is no limitations that cannot be crossed. The Millennium Fellowship is the opportunity and the tool used for the betterment of the society. I am excited to join the Millennium Fellowship because it aligns with my passion for the right to education, women’s rights, and sustainable development. I believe education is the foundation of empowerment and when women and girls have equal opportunities, communities thrive. This Fellowship will give me the chance to collaborate with like-minded peers, strengthen my initiatives, and contribute meaningfully to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerED

Our project focused on taking advocacy and practical support beyond the traditional classrooms to reach those for whom systematic inequality has closed the door on fundamental human rights.
The core of the initiative was to establish a direct, localised educational support system, building on prior experience volunteering with NGOs and teaching at government-aided schools.
The core aim was to launch comprehensive workshops focusing on literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
