" I believe learning is the best way for one to bring about change . Change starts best from within, that's only possible through continued learning . I truly believe Millennium Fellowship is the best avenue for the same. It'll give me a stepping stone for bringing about greater change individually or collectively . This will also definitely develop my interpersonal skills in such a manner that I can encourage my peers to join me in my journey to bring about greater good. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Healing Hearts
The Healing Hearts Project, is a dedicated outreach program focused on raising awareness about mental health and fostering a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health challenges. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being in overall health, this project is designed to empower communities with knowledge, resources, and empathy towards mental health issues. In our present society most of the people suffering from mental health issues but they are unaware about what to do and also the expense for consulting a psychologist is very high ,in a state like Kerala the state government doesn't provide psychologist service rather they provide psychiatric wing in the hospitals ,so this project aims to provide awareness about the mental health issues faced by all sections of the society and an effort to create a psychologist wing in the government hospitals. Currently I am collaborating the Project with Koodu Foundation. As a part of the project we organized awareness sessions and counselling assistances at various schools and colleges in association with National Service Scheme.
