" The cross-culture of art, culture and social reform has always perked my interest. What seems to be the need of the hour is to create an atmosphere of curious and ever evolving minds, which I aim to do with the platforms I have. I am blessed to have a circle of people who are constantly supportive and push my boundaries further. I am excited to create change with this opportunity and share my thoughts to create better spaces. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Workplace Impacts on Women’s Lifestyle
This project aims to address the needs of the household Indian woman, who gets neglected and suffers in her own health: ironically while taking care of her family and friends 24/7. This reasoning of the Indian woman coming last in her healthcare seems to be adopted amongst her partner, children, parents, etc. as they have seen this suppression take place around them constantly. Due to this, she trivialises her own health, seeing it as insignificant, creating a vicious loop of biases, neglect and dismissal. This project aims to help women realise that they need to take up more space for themselves: because if you cannot take care of your own health, where do you prioritise yourself?
