I look forward to harnessing this experience to design innovative, scalable, and sustainable interventions that contribute meaningfully to the UNAI principles and SDGs "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Plate Movement
Imagine all shops, restaurants despite of using single use disposable plastic using natural alternatives like Sal leaf plates, Bagasse plates and rice straws etc. This will significantly decrease the load on the environment that is being created due to excessive use of single use plastics. My aim is to promote these innovations for fostering the environmental good as well a providing employment in the rural areas for their
production in SMEs and cost effective solution for the merchants, thus creating a win-win environment. Making it compulsory in our campus is the aim of this initiative. It is under the UN SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production.
