Pontificia Universidad Javeriana | Bogotá, Colombia | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 10 & UNAI 8

" Being part of an unequal, unjust, and violent society creates in me a constant concern, and even more so, the deep urge to ask myself what I can do to change it. Perhaps my impact will be small, or perhaps it will be significant, through politics or academia; I don't know yet. But what I do know is that I don't want to be just a spectator in the face of the problems around me. Being a Fellow in a program that seeks to generate social impact, like the Millennium Fellowship, is a unique opportunity to create change in my society, grow as a person, and address the concern that drives me. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Academy of the Future
In my university classes, I realized something: academic knowledge often gets trapped in complex language, reserved only for those who have access to formal education. However, learning should not be a privilege; it should be an open possibility for everyone.
That’s how the question that gave birth to this project emerged:
What if we used social media not only to entertain, but also to educate in a simple and engaging way?
The main goal is to create short and dynamic videos that explain academic topics—especially in law, social sciences, and politics—in a clear, visual, and understandable way for anyone, regardless of their educational background. We want more young people to approach knowledge without fear, with curiosity and enthusiasm.
