ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: TuaMind

This project focuses on promoting mental health awareness among youth, particularly on university campuses, while providing alternative approaches to traditional therapy. It also explores integrating AI into mental health support. The initiative successfully organized events that raised awareness and connected attendees with opportunities to access mental health services, helping students engage with their well-being in innovative and accessible ways.

About the Millennium Fellow

Benson Ochieng' is a young and bright 22 year old from Kenya. He is currently finishing his degree in physiotherapy from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology and is hoping to graduate at the end of the year. He would like to take this chance to make a difference in the community in and around the school. He has notably worked and is passionate about mental health especially among the youth and would like to continue making an impact on young people's lives. He is also very eager to learn more about the sustainable goals and how they can be used to make a difference. This is the perfect opportunity and he is going to give his best.
